Ambition Comes with Color-Coordinated Socks

By Michelle Shaeffer | 18 Comments

Sometimes ambition and leadership come with lime green color coordinated socks!  Yes, seriously.

Check out this fun video that will have you laughing out loud (or at least smiling).

I definitely grew up in the boonies.  Also had one of those “Yes, Sir” daddies and a lot of “oh no I’m not” thoughts that stayed in my head, too.

How about you?  Did you identify with the speaker?

What I enjoyed most about this video was his spunk–even though he realizes some of those from where he came from don’t like his ambition and drive, he hasn’t let that cause him to give up.

Pretty cool video. Very impressive speaker as well as entertainer :).

I grew up in the sticks-ish lol. No sidewalks, 15 minutes to any grocery store, lived by nobody my own age. Yep, boring. But, you learn toe make the best with what is around you – that’s for sure ;).

It does help you learn to make the best of things, as well as realizing just how much you can survive without and what isn’t really a “need” in life. Good for perspective.

    Enjoyed every minute! LOL!

I grew up in a teeny tiny town called “Fairhope”.

    Fondly referred to as …

    “No Hope”. :)

    Thanks for sharing, Michelle!

Isn’t it funny how small towns come up with those kind of names? I think it’s generally the teenagers who are responsible. LOL

    Hi Michelle,,

Thanks for sending this to me. I really enjoyed it in several ways; inspiring, funny and he is a great speaker-very confident. I need to learn how to share things with my followers on Stumble. I only have you and one other person who are listed for me to share with. Things are always to busy but I must take some time to learn more about Stumble. Thanks again. Sally

That was my first attempt at a direct share through StumbleUpon. I’m still getting the hang of using the website, but I click Stumble buttons a lot. :) Learning as I go!

Ahha, great one! He is one funny guy. But unlike him, I did not consider my childhood to be a military service (lucky me). :)
Thanks for the share, Michelle, this was refreshing!
