Today I took time to look at my site and get an overview of what’s working, what’s not, and where I need to focus to make my site easier to use and navigate.
I’m sharing it in a video so you can see what needs changed here and apply the ideas to your own website/blog.
Here are some of the things I was thinking about when I reviewed it:
Is it easy for visitors to immediately tell what my blog is about?
Is it easy for visitors to find exactly what they’re looking for?
Am I making it easy enough to subscribe to my blog/ezine?
Absolutely fantastic! I’m actually just working on a product to help people with designing their blogs effectively. And I’ll be doing some things on my own blogs to make them more user friendly as well. ~ Leanne
It’s an ongoing process, isn’t it? :) Can’t wait to see what you’re working on — good advice can go a long way towards an effective website/blog.
Well I’m making progress. I’ve improved the ease of contacting me, started to setup the new pages/navigation and am slowly getting everything I mentioned in the video done. Yay!
