Create Cool Videos Without Being in Front of the Camera

By Michelle Shaeffer | 14 Comments

Do you want to create videos for your business but don’t want to be in front of the camera yourself?  You’ll LOVE this cool tool!

Sparkol’s VideoScribe allows you to easily create a video like this one (and they’ve got a free 7 day trial):

Thanks to James Wedmore for introducing me to VideoScribe and to Lou Bortone for sharing the editing features YouTube offers (which let me add in fun background music and create the pause at the end).

Oh, and check out the blogging workshop at http://launchyourblog.com/results — this is the last time I’m running it.

Oh no! Another great tool to learn. How dare you introduce this to me just as I was finishing up a text email message and sales page!

Now I’m so distracted. It’s taking all my will power to hold off grabbing VideoScribe and creating a cool video for my upcoming e-course announcement.

    Eeeee. Whew! Made it.

I’ll create one for the ecourse itself next week.

Thanks again Michelle for keeping us on the cutting edge.

It was a lot of fun to create – I can see myself making more of these (and it doesn’t require getting out of my PJs!). :)

Inspirational and motivational.I went from being serenaded by Pachelbel to some funky get up and dance music. I saw this type of video one some of the top guru launches and some companies charge as little as $2000.00 to make them:-)
I appreciate the share, it’s an awesome tool. And I’m confident you’re gonna fill the seats for your final “launch your blog.”

Isn’t that music great? That’s from YouTube’s library they offer and it fit perfectly with my video. :)

And thanks! I always have a blast teaching this workshop and look forward to diving back into it again with a new group.

    Hi Michelle,

I have video-phobia. But today I got a wild hair to check out some tools for doing more creative videos. I hopped over to your site because I knew you had done some cool video posts before – lo and behold this was the first one I saw.

And I love this – this is definitely one that I *might* be able to do.

Thanks and have a great day!

    Hi, Michelle,

Creating videos is something my brother, and other people I know, keep telling me I need to be doing, but I’m not comfortable enough in front of the camera yet (I had an experience with Bell’s Palsy–facial nerve paralysis–that has left me a bit self-conscious about taking pictures and being in video).

This is a great resource you’re providing for people like myself. It’s one I will definitely look into more deeply.

Thank you for sharing this. Have a fantastic day!
