Have you started using video yet to promote your business online? There are easy ways to do it without putting yourself on camera if you’re camera shy!
Check out this fun video from Sherry of The Perfect Pearl Place:
She shared it with me after my last video blog post. You can make one like this using http://www.xtranormal.com/text-to-movie
Do check out her website for a great example of ways to use video to educate your visitors and promote your business (and to find very pretty pearl jewelry).
Another good example of using a video to promote with a slideshow of photos and text is Melanie Kissell’s video for Solo Mompreneuer – check it out here: http://solomompreneur.com/
I dare you, go ahead and make a video for your website! With services like XtraNormal, Flixtime, Stupeflix and others it’s easy even for those of us who aren’t video experts.
P.S. If you need a little help getting started, try Lou Bortone’s Online Video Rockstar or his free Online Video Bonus Pack.

Yes, it’s great isn’t it? I love the video slideshows – I’m not crazy about putting myself on camera. LOL

Hey Michelle – thanks for the mention!
At first, I was a little intimidated by creating a video, but then I realized we have lots of choices for making and publishing videos without having to be live on camera. I had lots of fun creating a video for my landing page using Animoto.
Now I’m curious to check out xtranormal – had no idea you could do text-to-movie videos – Cool!
Thanks for all the great tips, tricks, and tools you share with everyone. You make business-building stress-free and FUN!

What a great idea!
I’d love to make a video, but I, too, don’t want to be in it, so this could be perfect …………. just need to find the time to make it ;-)

It’s a great option. I was surprised how quickly I was able to put together a few videos over the weekend – as long as I stayed focused and didn’t get lost choosing images to use. :)
