How to Easily Create the Perfect Blog Post #Infographic

By Michelle Shaeffer | 5 Comments

Are you one of the many bloggers wondering what exactly to include in your blog posts to get more people reading, commenting, and sharing them?

You’ll love the infographic below which breaks it down into a simple template format you can follow.

Think of it like this:

  • The goal of your hookline (headline) is to get people’s ATTENTION so your blog post gets SEEN.
  • The goal of your lede (introduction) is to grab people’s INTEREST with curiosity or emotion that draws them in so they want to read, so you get HEARD.
  • The goal of your blog post then is to inform, teach, persuade… leading to a FEELING which creates an ACTION.

So, what is the action you want your readers to take?

And, what will grab their attention and pique their curiosity so you have the chance to help that action happen?

If you aren’t sure where to start, try the free Get Ideas tool – it’s built based on the most viral blog posts and news articles on the web (just look for the little “Get Ideas >>” button!).

What *exactly* goes into the perfect blog post? This infographic has your answer…

Nice infographics. You have mentioned good points above, and this is better for me. Including more Images in a blog post has explained everything so beautifully and also play an important role in attracting the visitor.

This looks awesome to me. I have recently started a new blog and looking for such visual explanation to know more about a perfect blog post. I am thankful that you spend a lot of time on creating it. This is informative for any layman who doesn’t want to read a lengthy post and visuals to understand the process/methods.
