Instant Inspirational Kick in the Pants Enclosed

By Michelle Shaeffer | 14 Comments

It’s not normally what I blog about, but it’s what’s on my mind… and maybe you could use a little inspiration today, too.  If not, just bookmark this post for later and remember it’s here when you do need it.  :)

One of my mentors often reminds me that anytime we’re struggling or down, the best way to get past it is to look for some way to be of service or inspiration to someone else and take our minds off ourselves.  So this morning, after a rather rough day yesterday, I made this for you:

And the perfect soundtrack to inspire you (and me!) today… just click the little play triangle:

Or, listen to more of Orgena’s music online here: http://www.reverbnation.com/orgenarose/songs (My favorites are Believe, I Will Rise and Step Into Your Power)

And download it here on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/believe-ep/id720849772

I was blessed to meet Orgena Rose in person at Therese Skelly‘s business retreat a few weeks ago and her presence and music were deeply inspiring.  I hope you find the same joy, love, and inspiration in her music that I have.

P.S. If you want to put a Pinboard in a blog post like I did above, here’s how (thanks, HubSpot!).

What inspires YOU?

Thanks for sharing Michelle. I loved her song “Believe.” Belief in one’s self (self-love) is the foundation upon which success (as defined by you) is built.

    Michelle,

Thanks for this inspirational post. I’ve been looking for a jingle composer after losing touch with the one I used years ago. I’m eager to contact Orgena.

I’m also happy to learn about the Pinboard from HubSpot.

Once again you’ve delivered great content.

I find that movies about overcoming circumstances really inspire me, especially if they are based on true facts.

There’s a reason why so many copywriters use numbers in their headlines. It works.

    Hi Michelle,

Really good kick start in the pants! It was totally unexpected. By reading the title of your post I assumed you were going to list a few quotes.

    Good idea.

    Thanks for sharing
