Thanks so much for mentioning the LinkedIn Challenge, Michelle! It all started with you, and even though it is already in its fourth edition I always think of you when I host it again :-) Hope to see some of your readers on the challenge to learn more about LinkedIn !

Hey Sarah, I’m happy to share it! LinkedIn is a GREAT place to connect with professionals, entrepreneurs and business owners, if you know how to do it right. :)

As you know, I speak on the topic of LinkedIn. Many professionals are baffled by it and seeking tips on how to maximize their experience there. This infographic provides a succinct synopsis. I’ll share it with others as well.
Here’s to your sweet success.
:)

Yes, it does baffle a lot of people. As I know you teach, the simple step by step of just focus on these actions daily, is really helpful.

Hi Michelle, thanks for posting this wonderful little infographic. What a quick & easy daily routine for using LinkedIn, especially for contacting those business associates who grow less active on Facebook. I particularly like the last suggestion: While frequent posting will help us stay “top of mind”, nothing beats meeting face-to-face.
Michelle Shaeffer says
Despite how “virtual” our world has become, there’s still something special about connecting face to face.
And I agree! I’ve not been as active on LinkedIn because it always felt like there was a learning curve but this guide is simple to follow and makes it easy to jump in and just spend a few focused minutes a day.

Hi Michelle,
Thanks so much for sharing the infographic! I’m really glad you found it useful :-). There’ll be more coming for Twitter and Instagram soon so keep an eye out for those!
Thanks so much again,
Toby

Awesome! I look forward to seeing those, Toby, and would love to share them once they’re available. You guys did a great job on this one for LinkedIn.

Great post Michelle! Since LinkedIn is now using LinkedIn posts and LinkedIn Pulse, is the advanced technique of emailing the publishers at LinkedIn still a usable technique?
Michelle Shaeffer says
Great question – I think submitting through pulse.me likely replaces it, but LinkedIn does still suggest reaching out to that email address for help getting content featured: http://help.linkedin.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5011/~/getting-content-featured-in-pulse-on-linkedin.com

Thanks for the great info and infographic. I have done well with my connections (over 600) but I need to be more active on it now. Great tips.

This is awesome! I am a big fan of LinkedIn and think more folks should use it. It is the social network that I’ve actually gotten the most work from, accounting for tens of thousands of dollars in my business.
