It’s Ultimate Blog Challenge time again!
Is your blog ready to become more of a habit and priority for you?
You’re invited to join Michele Scism, me, and 350+ other bloggers for the April 2012 Ultimate Blog Challenge!
The “challenge” is to post to your blog 30 times during the month of April.
Why blog so often?
Here are just a few of the benefits I’ve found from participating in blog challenges:
- I’m more motivated to write regularly since there’s the added accountability.
- It’s more fun to blog with a group of bloggers who are all working together, brainstorming ideas, and sharing posts.
- My blog traffic goes up from both bloggers in the challenge and as the search engines find all the new content I’m creating.
- Writing so often forces me to focus, write faster, and has helped me find my “voice” in blogging.
So why not jump in and join us? There’s no cost, and there’s no blogging police so even if you don’t complete the whole challenge you’ll still be benefiting from participating in the group and getting daily blogging ideas.

Hi Michelle,
I just published a post on blogging consistently :). Joining the challenge means I’ll be eating my own dog food!
Off I go to sign up – I can certainly use an extra public accountability … pressure!!!

One day maybe I will sign up for blog challenges like this. As a part timer I could not manage to blog every day. Good luck to you though!

I actually got into a challenge, I think that was the guest blogging challenge by Mitch. Its goal is to make posts as much as you can as a guest to other blogs. But I will defnitely like to have a new challenge.
David Crowley says
Sounds fun! I have a big work event on April 5, so I might do a modified version and try for 30 posts across the 3 places I blog (http://cookingchat.blogspot.com/ and http://socialcapitalinc.org as well as the link above).

I’m getting brave and I’m going to do THREE blogs for this challenge! I’m also doing the A to Z Challenge for the first time, at the same time, on my newest site, TheJuicingLife.com. I love these Challenges and can’t wait to start. It’s hard work, but it definitely pays off in many ways! Scheduling some of my posts will be a great help in ensuring I get all 31 posts on all three blogs done by the end of April. April Challenge, Here I Come!
Flora Morris Brown, Ph.D. says
Congrats fellow bloggers for taking the challenge. There is certainly no shortage of topics in this world. We just have to manage our time to get it done.
Gwen Tanner says
Ok, I will do it again. It’s been a few years since I’ve done a blog challenge…and a few years since I’ve updated my blog regularly LOL.
So I’m in!

I’ve got to nail this consistency thing this time Michelle! I’ve got students that need to develop blogging habits for class so I’m under the microscope to model for them. Here we go…again :)

Hi Michele,
I heard you on Tera McHugh’s show and I’m excited for the challenge. I realize I’m joining late, hope I can still contribute and be part of the tribe!
Thanks for sharing great tips!
