And a couple of fun blog awards…
Jenz Virtual Office : Gave me the Kreative Blogger Award (thank you!)
Dressing My Truth: Jeanine awarded me the Versatile Blogger award (thank you!)
Now I get to tell you 10 random facts about me (one award says 7 and the other says 10 so I went with 10), and send the awards on to other bloggers. I’ve done the random facts thing a few times so I’ll try to come up with something new to share…
1. I can play the piano, flute, piccolo, and pretend to play the guitar. I took classical piano lessons for something like 10 years. Then I taught piano for a few years.
2. As a kid my favorite pet was my Siamese cat. My mother got rid of it when she developed an allergy. I cried.
3. We live with two mostly sweet cats now — a tuxedo cat and a silver/black striped tabby cat.
4. If it didn’t freak my husband out so much I’d dye all my hair pink. For a while. Then purple. Maybe blue. It all washes out so might as well have fun.
5. My favorite subject in high school was math.
6. My childhood dream was to become an astronaut.
7. I love really good coffee. Anything but decaf.
8. I like to wear fuzzy socks. They keep my toes nice and toasty.
9. I’ve lived in 5 different states in the US so far. Alaska is my favorite.
10. If I’m watching TV, it’s probably Sci-fi. Imagine what life could be like in 100 years.
Now I get to decide who to pass these awards on to. I’ll do that in another post this week, it’s going to take some thinking! So many fabulous bloggers I’ve connected with over the past year…

Hi Michelle
Lots to look at there.
Good to have the links under headings and categories… makes it easy to decide which direction to take.
Michelle Shaeffer says
Yes, you can find just what you’re interested in this way. :) I love the way the Instant Weekly Roundup plugin does that.
Jeff Wise says
I’ve lived in five states too! I’ve been west coast, east coast and now the south.
Thanks for posting some of those sites up top. I’ll be checking those out today.

It’s interesting to see the differences in all the areas, isn’t it? I’ve enjoyed living in such varied climates.

Michelle Shaeffer says
Yes, let’s Skype! I’ll add you to my list. I missed that time today but I’ll try to be online tomorrow then. :)

#5 – me too. I even sent for an application to the Journalist in Space program. Then they blew up Christa McA and decided not to send a journo.

Thanks for sharing some random facts about yourself. Regarding your hair color… ever try to surprise your husband with a rainbow color instead?
