Here’s a great infographic I came across that shares what sizes in pixels to use for profile and other images on various social networks. Created by Original Ginger.
For me, the hardest thing would be to find a twitter background that looks good but loads fast… most of the twitter BG’s that i used made my computer hang!
That can be challenging since we can make big backgrounds. Couple of tips to help it load faster:
* try less detail – the more detail, the larger the file size (generally)
* optimize the graphic for the web with a tool like smush.it
Great infographic! Thanks for sharing. :)
Yeah, it’s a nice reference so I don’t have to look up each size when I’m creating or updating images. :)
What a nice handy guide and infographic too!
Hey Lisa, thanks for commenting and tweeting. :)
Michelle,
You keep outdoing yourself by sharing such splendid and useful content.
Thanks.
Thanks, Flora. So many great resources out there, had to share this one. :)

Great infographic. It sure saves time to find resources like these so we don’t have to figure all the sizes out on our own! Thanks again, Michelle!
Exactly – nice not to have to look them up everytime we need them. :)
Well done and great job!
This is helpful having all the information in one spot instead of searching through Google for each one. Bookmarked for “social media mages.”
Thanks
