Blogging is one of the quickest and most effective ways to generate leads and build your business. Whether you are a homebased business owner, solopreneur, an Internet marketer or heart-based service provider, you should be blogging as part of your marketing efforts.  Join me when my guest, Michelle Shaeffer, blogging expert, shares why you should be be blogging now and tells you how to get started.

The show will be live at 11am Pacific time, but you can catch the call later with the replay, too.

I’ll be sure to check out Flora Brown’s blog talk radio show even if I can’t make today’s call live, Michelle. I like David Meerman Scott’s take on blogging – it’s real time communication. That’s a vital key that many small business owners are missing. Blogging allows them to communicate with their particular audience, and allows their audience to get to know them, which is also one of the reasons why I like to blog.

Very true and really important, blogging has been the best thing I did last year and I’m looking forward to another year of it in 2012. The one extra thing I didn’t realize when I started is how many other blogs I would discover (like this one) that I wouldn’t have found if I wasn’t blogging myself.

Blogging’s got so many amazing benefits. I went into it without realizing how many cool blogs I’d discover and fantastic connections I’d make, too, Matt.

Reputable bloggers have this respect and connection build with clients. I think they are effective in selling products and services since clients already know them and they trust their recommendations. Blogging is one of the best ways to be connected with customers and also is a good way of being introduced to new markets.

I love my experience when I have done guest blogging. Not only have I got a good collaboration with other bloggers but also have been introduced to a brand new audience. There are just so many benefits and I am lucky to be experiencing some of them.

Loved the radio show, Michelle! I learned to find the answer to the great 3 questions: why, who, and what in regard to blogging. Working on those answers as we speak. It definitely makes everything clearer and helps putting time and focus in what matters most. Thanks!
